私も子連れで帰国する予定のものです。旅行会社からの情報でこんなものがあったので参考になるかと思い投稿させていただきました。液体の薬等も同じように持ち込みできるそうです。

New carry-on Liquid Allowance Effective September 26, 2006
Please advised that TSA (Transportation Security Administration) has changed security screening procedures at all US airport as follows.
1.  Passengers traveling to/from or within the United States (except for travel originating in the UK, France or Belgiun) may now carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries (3 oz or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZE, clear plastic, zip-top bag.
2. After clearing security, travelers can now bring beverages and other items purchased in the secure boarding ares on-board aircraft.

２００６年９月よりこれまで規制のあった化粧品は旅行用の小型容器にいれ、チャックのついた透明のプラスチック袋に入れて空港の安全検査を受ければ３オンス（約８５グラム）まで機内持ち込みが認められます。また飲料水に関しても、安全検査を受けた後、待合室で購入した飲料水も持ち込めるようになりました。（アメリカ発のみ）
