これは主にTwitterというサイトで起きていることについて書かれたものですが、最後の

という部分は、このサイトのような掲示板でも同様に当てはまると思います。

政府が開示している情報は信用できないからといって、こういう掲示板で交換する情報が、
どれだけ信頼できるものだと言えるでしょうか。結局のところ、私たちはみんな、当てになるかどうかわからない
情報しか持っていないのです。
自分の不安を他の人と分かち合うことで、少しは気持ちが落ち着く、という効用は確かにあるかと思いますが、
同時にそれが、読む人の不必要な不安を煽ってしまう可能性もあるのです。

この記事にもあったように、全世界で実際に豚インフルエンザによる死亡と確認されているケースは
１００人以下です。一方、普通のインフルエンザで亡くなる人は、アメリカだけでも毎年３６０００人いるのだ
そうです。

突然降って湧いたように出てきたものなので、恐ろしく感じるのはわかりますが、落ち着いて、
信頼できる筋の情報収集に努めたいと思っています。
