一般的には、
heartburnは胃酸過多、もしくは胸焼け（いわゆるスパイシーフードなどによるburning sensation in the chest)

indigestionは胃痛、胃部不快（不消化による）だと思います。

メディカルタームだと、
acid indigestion　胃酸過多　消化障害　（俗に言う胸焼けheartburn/pyrosis）

gastric indigestion 胃性消化不良　（dyspepsia：消化機能障害）

また、dyspepsiaにも種類がたくさんありますが、日本人に多いのは、
nervous dyspepsia：神経性消化不良（緊張、不安による消化不良）

食べ物が消化しきれていない感じの胃もたれであれば、
indigestionで分かってもらえると思います。
